Megan Knight’s love of storytelling has pushed her to focus on narrative driven projects throughout the year. With a focus, primarily on children’s illustration and storytelling.
This year in specific, she has been considering the idea of curiosity and question asking within children – with a book titled ‘But Why?’ which explores children’s constant strive to learn about everything. This project has challenged her, to both write and illustrate a book- which is something which she has been practicing throughout the year with smaller projects.
Knight hopes to highlight her abilities in illustrating both her own writing, as well as being able to imagine and visualise someone else’s narrative. And producing narrative for both children and adults. In her portfolio, she hopes to highlight her abilities in various methods of illustration and technical skills using both traditional and digital mediums with work which reflects this.
