Marion Clement’s work takes inspiration from Scottish Heritage, Folklore and Witchcraft, along with contemporary Feminism. She examines the role and position of the Scottish contemporary woman, whilst continuing to look back at the ways in which they were represented historically.
Her current work revolves around a character, Dame Autumn, born from the act of mourning and the loss of her Grandmother, Christina McRae. Through this character, she brought together influences from her Grandmother and her own practices; resulting in a healing experience during a heartbreaking time of life.
