“I realised that it was meaningful, and more pleasing, to note that these are one and the same process: making is connecting.” – David Gauntlett

As artists and designers, we are constantly connecting.

Connecting with our bodies, with each other and with every product we produce and consume. The lights represent that as makers we are unaware of the work and contribution our nerves have within our “making” process. Concealed and trapped inside, the data inspired structures are invisible and unrecognised (similar to our nerves within our bodies) until, however, the lights are switched on, illuminating a space with warm and relaxing shadows.
