Contemporary Art Practice
Erin Mary Brogan’s artistic practice looks at the internet, specifically the way we live our lives online through social media. Recently she has been looking at the aesthetics of social media, more specifically, Instagram. Using a mixture of digital and physical techniques she creates work that explores the trends that appear on our social media feeds.
Through her artwork, Brogan aims to educate her audience about the positive side of the internet, the side that can lift us up when we are feeling down, the part of the internet that can connect us to others when we are feeling alone.
