It is impossible for any single person to be defined or placed into one box, the same can be said for Charlotte Taylor’s practice. She is a photographer by practice but that is not all that she is or wants her work to be. Her work is mainly that of a photographic aspect, but occasionally elements of literature, culture and illustration will fall through.
We live in a world of quick snapshots and constant imagery; she wants her work to have more meaning than that of a quick image. She wants her work to make the invisible visible, to provoke thought and inspiration in those viewing it.
