This exhibition is an insight into the artist’s personal life, with research conducted and many of the works made through various interactions with her partner. It explores an unusual intimacy that is created when learning about and sharing one another’s regular rituals, which leads to expressing these rituals as theirs. The work is channelled through the over-arching theme of The Everyday, whereby she has concentrated on more specific concepts within that theme. These concepts include: activities and objects that are specifically related to the notion of grooming; the idea of a union being formed when two beings come together to form one; and noticing the significance of mirroring.
