Catrin Gray

A large focus for Catrin Gray this year has been design for behaviour change towards more sustainable behaviours, by cutting through negative messaging and making the new behaviour appear convenient and emotionally desirable to the consumer.  She has been focused on avoiding marketing that is condescending or implies sustainable behaviour involves sacrifice on the consumers behalf.

Gray has produced a range of design and illustration projects including projects promoting seasonal eating, recycling food waste, promoting foreign travel by train, and illustrations for a sustainable fashion brand. She has enjoyed developing her style within traditional media working with oil pastel, gouache and watercolour and developing her digital strengths with vector illustrations.
