Contemporary Art Practice
Aleks Ka’s practice explores various theories, as in the transgenerational trauma. She plays with colours, light and works creatively in many mediums and disciplines. By putting emphasis on long lasting imprint of a human being, she often explores the social and the cultural influences, psychology including mental health disorders and stigmatized environments, as much as the role of art.
Aleks Ka adopts art therapies and colour psychology; embracing variation of tones and insensitivity of the elements, which some of transform throughout the projects. Her installation explores the healing from effects of war mistreatment and social disorders developed under occupied countries in Europe
